Last month I attended a virtual conference on (most) everything WordPress. I was mainly interested in the SEO and Schema additions to the website as it has grown in popularity–not just with SEO companies and marketers, but designers and developers alike! I will be the first to say it: I am not an SEO expert, nor will I ever claim to be. Analytics, keywords, algorithms, etc are just above and beyond what I care to learn–it’s just not creative enough.
However, working with SEO specialists this past year, I have had to up my game and knowledge in this department. So when WPEngine had their virtual DeCode conference with a Schema.org presentation, I was front and center.
