I posted this on Instagram talking about the exact thing, but it deserves a spot in your inbox too:
Your website is not “just a website.”
It is the first taste of what working, booking, traveling, touring, or even trusting you might feel like.
And yes, that is a lot of pressure for a few pages and a contact button. But your website signed up for the job.
Before someone books, buys, emails, calls, or inquires, they are quietly asking:
- “Do I trust this?”
- “Is this worth it?”
- “Can I find what I need?”
- “Does this feel like the right fit?”
Your website needs to answer those questions before you ever do.
For tour operators, camps, travel brands, and experience-based businesses, this matters even more. People are not just buying a thing. They are buying a feeling, a promise, and a memory they have not lived yet.
So if your real-life experience is thoughtful, polished, warm, fun, organized, or all of the above, your website should not feel like it wandered in from 2017 wearing flip-flops.
It should feel like the beginning of the experience.
